An Introduction

"NEW YEAR, NEW ME!"

You hear the majority of people pledging year after year that this new year is THE year they focus, commit and become a better person... A "regeneration" of themselves. They may decide to do this by being more honest, eating better and going to the gym as a way of becoming a new them. We see these pledges on social sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram but it's a rare case when these pledges are kept and people do change their lives for the better. I wouldn't be surprised if you've sighed when expressing your frustration at a "New Year, New Me!" status or tweet that one of your friends has posted... Knowing that this is going to be an unlikely case. In reality, it's going to be the same sh*t each year and they are going to be the same sh*t person.

BUT...

Why should this be the case every year..? There must be one person out of the many who pledge the "New Year, New Me!" commit and actually follow through! I decided this year is going to be my year... And I'm going to take the pledge... And become a better version of myself. Because I deserve that and I want that for myself.

I found this quotes whilst browsing:

I actually really love this because you have the power to create yourself and use your life to become a better person, it's a great pro-active way of thinking. I confess that quote is now my background on my phone... I love setting quotes/motivational pictures as a way of motivating me and make me more determined to succeed. I am constantly picking up my phone so why not give me something to thinking about and reflect on?

So... How am I got to improve myself? How I am going to create myself? For years now I have hated overweight chubby fatty body... And I want to change that. I want to be able to love my body and feel healthy and have that confidence to do what I want without my weight holding me back or dragging me down.

I have three ways I'm going to step up my game and achieve my goal:
  1. Diet - Clean and healthy eating by creating specific diet plans each week and keeping to them.
  2. Gym - Attend the gym every other day working on either cardio or weights to get fitter and build stamina whilst burning fat.
  3. Protein Shakes/Meal Replacement Weight Loss Collection from Protein World - I am going to start replacing meals with protein shakes targeted to help me lose weight and also take the Fat Melter Capsules to increase my metabolism and Multi Vitamin Capsules to provide me with the essential vitamins I need.
I'm sure that these will help me achieve my goal of 115lbs which is the HEALTHY WEIGHT for my BMI as currently I'm OBESE at 204lbs as my height is 5 foot 6 inches. I'm really determined to achieve my goal because I want to be able to look at myself and feel happy that I've accomplished something by myself and improved my life.

Creating a detailed plan is key to staying strong and that's what I'm in the process of doing. I'm looking forward to a good year... And I hope this blog will help me reflect on my year of creating myself!

Hope you enjoyed reading.

Love,

Somer :-) Xxx
